MIGHT AS WELL BE MAGIC

Watercolor skies, crowding out the chatterbox

Take me to the time we all recall inside of us.

When beauty was the rule and kindness was assumed                                 

And love came pouring from the sky                          

And filled the magic dust with life

Deep within the well tears and dirt and blood abide

Near as I can tell Love's the only reason why

Sure we could be strong, prettier than paradise

With nowhere to belong, trying to put a price on life    

It might as well be magic,                        

Might as well be magic                        

Might as well be magic,                        

Might as well be God.

Truer than belief, somethings are in spite of us

Experts don't agree, but they should not decide for us

There mountains where we shine, valley's where we grieve

Conspire to the time  where love is all we need.      

Drain the swamp, build the roads, we need a common marketplace

What is force? where is 2? When will I see your face?

All I can do is choose, is love real or is it not?

The implications ooze with consequences for my lot

I happily believe, after many years of thought,

My mind and heart perceive a kind of real that you do not…
